PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A car hit a fire hydrant, launching it through a window before crashing into a home in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood Saturday evening, responding fire crews told CBS News Philadelphia.Eyewitnesses and fire rescue crews described a chain reaction where a car hit a fire hydrant, sending it flying into a residence's window before both crashed into a home near South Frazier Street and Greenway Avenue.Fortunately, no one inside the home at the time was injured, crews told CBS News Philadelphia. After the crash, the driver was able to climb out of the car and was taken to the hospital. The Department of License and Inspections for the city is assessing the support beams on the house's porch that were damaged. Another home nearby was also damaged during the crash. Philadelphia Police release photos of people suspected of stealing guns from cars
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are working to identify a group of individuals suspected of breaking into a number of vehicles in Northwest Philadelphia last month.The Philadelphia Police Department's Northwest Detective Division released video on Monday of what they say is a group of young men breaking into cars parked near 30th and Clearfield streets between Monday, May 27 and Friday, May 30.Police said the thefts happened between 10 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., and in all five cases under investigation, guns were stolen out of each car.While police did not specify how many individuals they are trying to identify, PPD said the suspected offenders were driving two different types of black sedans. Police did not provide any information on the make or model of those cars.Anyone with information on these thefts can submit a tip by calling or texting 215-686-8477 or submit tips anonymously online.

PAULSBORO, N.J. (CBS) -- Paulsboro police on Sunday helped a lost goat reunite with his owners.According to Paulsboro police, a goat was found after 6 p.m. near the Paulsboro Fire Department in the area of West Billingsport Road and Delaware Street. The police department posted a photo on Facebook in hopes of finding the owners.Later, the department posted that the goat, known as Freddie, had been reunited with his owners.
