Kathleen Lynn Wirtz (nee Gollick), 64, Sebastian
August 12, 1958 – April 6, 2023
Kathleen Lynn Wirtz (nee Gollick), 64, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2023 at her home in Sebastian, FL.
Kathy was born on August 12, 1958 in Joliet, IL to Joseph and Margaret Gollick. She graduated from Joliet West High School in 1976. She married the love of her life, William R. Wirtz in 1981.
Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid puzzle and escape game master!
She is survived by her loving husband, William Wirtz of 41 years. Her “angel-winged companion” How-wee. Three children, Amanda Babiarz (Steve), Kerrylynn Wirtz (Victor), and William J Wirtz. Her five “Babygirls”, Kayleigh, Emma, Nevaya, Arielle and Serena, and her great-grandson Kaine Leo. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Gollick. Her sisters, Donna, Deborah and infant Susan. Her brothers Joseph, Michael, and Russell.

James, “Jimmy the K,” Kelyman, 82, Sebastian
March 10, 1941 – March 22, 2023
James, “Jimmy the K,” Kelyman passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Sebastian, FL. at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife, Carole, his son, Scott, his daughter-in-law, Lynn, his daughter, Kim, his son-in-law, Bill, and his two granddaughters, Myah and Caroline.
Jim was born on March 10, 1941 to James and Katherine Kelyman Sr. He grew up in Manville, NJ., and graduated from Manville High School in 1959, where he was a four-sport athlete. He attended Moravian University as a three-sport athlete and graduated in 1963. Following college, he served in the New Jersey National Guard and married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Carole. He pursued a thirty year career in the commercial lending industry.
In 1992, he moved with his family to Sebastian, FL., and has been a resident since.
Jim was a friend to all and lit up every room he went into. He thoroughly enjoyed making anyone smile by telling jokes. He enjoyed watching sporting games, attending church, and spending time at his community pool where he was known as “Gym”. He was also known as “Big Jim,” and “Coach K,” to his friends and those he mentored in sports.
He was truly one of a kind and the best husband, dad, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend that anyone could hope to have. He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, friends, and all who knew him. “True Story.”
A service will be on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11am at St Sebastian Catholic Church followed by a memorial service at the Sebastian Elks Lodge.

Coleman Viglione, 79, Orlando
April 26, 1944 – April 1, 2023
Sadly, Coleman Viglione passed away Arpil 1, 2023. Coleman was born on April 26, 1944 in Cambridge, MA to Joseph and Marjorie Elizabeth Viglione. He later moved to Orlando, FL with his mother.
Coleman was not just a husband, father, and brother. He also was a mentor and close friend to so many. He was always joking, had a witty sense of humor, and made everyone he met feel comfortable. He loved NASCAR, the music stylings of Jan and Dean, The Jungle Cruise, Skippers, and Cats.
Coleman was a Master Electrician and owned his own company. As a young man, Coleman dedicated his life and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, serving faithfully until his death.
He married Sharon Smith in 1971 and they shared a life together until her passing in December 2013. He later married Donna Wells in 2016 and spent his remaining happy years with her in Sebastian, FL.
Coleman is survived by his wife, Donna, and his Children Jennifer Viglione Martin(Brian) and Alaina Viglione Marquis (Andrew) and grandchildren Finnegan, Kathryn Martin, and Anderson Marquis. He is also survived by his brother David Viglione (Gioconda), and their children and grandchildren.
During his life, he made such an impact on others, serving as a surrogate father to those who were not fortunate enough to have someone like him in their lives. Many young electricians consider him to be the origin of their successful careers.
His family and friends are devastated by the loss of this kind and humble man. The world has forever been blessed by Coleman Donald Viglione and he will be missed greatly.

Lawrence J. Blakeslee Sr., 87, Vero Beach
June 20, 1935 – April 14, 2023
Lawrence J. Blakeslee Sr., 87, passed away on April 14, 2023 at his residence in Vero Beach, Florida. He was the widow of Hope V. Blakeslee. They share 60 years of marriage together.
Born in Bordentown, New Jersey, he was the son of Lawrence F. Blakeslee and Grace Marlin. He was employed as a machinist for many years.
He was a member of the Red Mens Club and the Elks Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, RV camping, and spending time with his family.
Lawrence is survived by his seven children: Melody Carr, Edward Blakeslee, Sherrie Gautieri, Hope Horner, Larriene Ojeda, Tracy Todd, and Lawrence J. Blakeslee Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by both of his parents, his wife, and his son Walter Blakeslee.

Joan Cecila Saxon Faust, 92, Sebastian
January 6, 1931 – April 14, 2023
Joan Cecila Saxon Faust, 92, passed peacefully away on April 14, 2023, in her Sebastian, Fl home. She was the widow of Robert C. Faust, Jr. They shared 45 years of marriage together.
Joan was born January 6, 1931, in Moore Haven, Florida. She was the daughter of Raleigh Lyman Saxon and Nola Cecila Saxon. Joan was a 1949 graduate of Miami Edison High School. She was employed at the City of Fort Lauderdale as the City Manager Secretary.
Joan was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian. She enjoyed painting oils of seascapes, landscapes, and flowers, working in her yard, playing cards weekly with friends and spending time with family. Joan loved to travel, and she had just returned 2 weeks prior from a Southern Caribbean Cruise with her son Robert and daughter-in-law Gloria and she had the time of her life. It was God’s plan.
Joan is survived by her son, Robert Morrell Easton Jr, OD (Gloria Flores Easton) of Oakland Park, Florida, grandchildren; Robert Morrell Easton III, MD (Stephanie Park Easton) of Honolulu, HI, Linda Easton, RN of Oakland Park, FL, Jeffrey Raleigh Easton Jr (Kara Belcher Easton), Ryan Christopher Easton (Melissa Feindt Easton), Robert Daniel Easton (Rachael Melendrez) and William Tyler Easton (Jennifer Cessna Easton), great grandchildren Abigail, Liam, Jackson, Berkeley all of Virginia and step-great-grandchild Robert. Joan is survived by her nieces and nephews; Robin (Harley), Martha Lynn (Barney), Molly (Larry), Kyle (Dale), Leslie (Bud), Dawn (Marty), Kevin, Janet (David), Virginia (Eric), Raleigh (Lisa). Joan is survived by her Stepchildren Debbie Faust Lamberti (Robert Lamberti), Cynde Faust Thompson and step-grandchildren; Jenna and Tyler (Courtney) Thompson. Joan was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Raleigh Easton, Sr, Step-Grandson Robert C Faust III and her first husband Robert Morrell Easton, Sr.
The memorial service will be held at The First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian on April 26, 2023. 1405 Louisiana Avenue, Sebastian, Florida 32958. The visitation time will be held from 1130am to the time of the service at noon.
Joan will return to her birthplace with an interment service at the Ortona Cemetery 12870 State Road 78 Moore Haven, Glades, Florida, 33471 at 10am on June 3, 2023.

Albert David Miller, 92, Sebastian
March 25, 1931 – April 20, 2023
It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Albert “Dave” Miller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and Air Force Korean War veteran [51-54} of Sebastian. Dave passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on April 20, 2023.
Dave was born in New London, CT to Homer and Ruperta Miller. Dave married Collette Castelpoggi and had his son Wayne David Miller. He made East Hampton, Ct his home with his late wife Judy and deceased daughter Melissa until moving to Florida in 2006. He later married JoAnne Laughead Williams in 2015 and happily gained four more children.
Dave was known for his positive attitude, and humor and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Dave had a passion for airplanes, boating, and snowmobiling.
Dave is survived by his loving wife JoAnne, five children Wayne (Lisa) Miller of CT; Johnnie (Rhonda) Williams and Nicole (Leroy) McClain both of PA; Tamika Williams; LeAnne (Mark) Williams; Heather (Ritchie) Bourassa all of Sebastian, Fl., and his awesome fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition, he leaves his lifetime friends Dick and Pauline Beit their son Brett and friends Bill and Edy Clemons. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him; his kindness and strength will live on through his family and friends.
A private memorial will be held for Dave. He will be laid to rest with military honors, at East Neck Cemetery, in Waterford, Ct. We ask that you join us in honoring Albert’s memory by celebrating his life and the impact he had on all of us.

Miki Scott Murray, 91, Sebastian
January 25, 1932 – April 19, 2023
Miki Scott Murray passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, April 19th, 2023, at Sebastian River Medical Center at the age of 91. Her children were by her bedside during her final moments.
Miki had been a resident of Sebastian since 2004, having moved from Palm Beach Gardens. A Floridian from birth, she was born in Fort Myers, and loved to travel the world extensively. But Florida was always home base.
Miki met her husband, Julian Nathan Murray, while attending Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, where they both grew up. They got married in 1952. Julian went on to become a US Air Force pilot, was a veteran of the Korean War, though he didn’t fly again until later in life when he reignited his passion for flying as a hobby. In 1974, Miki was tragically widowed at the age of 42 when the plane that Julian was piloting went down en route from West Palm to the Bahamas. In our family history, Julian was the first to pass and now Miki is the last to pass of their generation. This marks the end of a generational era for the Murray, Scott and Thorsen family lines.
Miki was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Besides traveling, her other interests included collecting seashells, sea glass and flat rocks at the beach to decorate her garden, eating seafood, and creating culinary delights. She was a successful real estate broker for many years mostly in Palm Beach County. She always loved dancing, enjoying all kinds of music, and was known to really rock out tapping into the energy of her younger self. Miki once told her daughter that she would have loved to have been a Rockette! She was an avid horticulturist and her patient demeanor paired well with her most recently acquired passion of assembling puzzles with her companion of 11 years, Carlton “Butch” Havens.
Miki loved her family immensely and treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by her son, John Murray and wife, Michele; daughter, Julie Murray Kantor and husband, Cary; grandchildren, Aubrey Thelen and husband, Ross, Julian Ness, Brett Murray and wife, Katie, Brian Murray and wife, Jackie, Lauren DaCosta and husband, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Parker and Elliot Thelen, Tyler, Ryan, and Allison Murray, Brennan, Braden, and Isabella Murray, Wes, Van, and Cal DaCosta.
Miki is predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Julian Murray, who passed away on July 13th, 1974, and her sister, Marge Thorsen.
A memorial service and celebration of Miki’s life and legacy will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Vero Chapel, 3980 12th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, on Saturday, April 29th, at 11:00 AM. Visitation to greet the family begins at 10:30 AM.
