“Pending licensing, our goal is to open in either this upcoming July or August,” Gibbon told What Now Seattle, “We have the vision to revolutionize the local dining and entertainment scene. One of the key features of that will be an entirely revamped menu, curated by an exceptional, professional chef. Unlike traditional sports bars that heavily rely on deep-fried food options, The Penalty Box is determined to stand out by offering handmade sauces, limited fried items, and a constantly evolving menu. This approach ensures that regular customers can always look forward to exploring new and distinctive culinary creations.”

Not stopping at just good food options for patrons, The Penalty Box is also investing in a multi-sports simulator, catering to activities such as golf, hockey, and more. In addition, the establishment plans to support pool leagues and introduce dart leagues for enthusiasts of these popular bar games. With a dedicated focus on hockey, The Penalty Box is working towards becoming an official Seattle Kraken watch party location. Boasting two large projector screens and ten big-screen TVs, sports fans will have ample opportunities to cheer on their favorite teams in a lively atmosphere.
