Bumbershoot announces music lineup for its 50th anniversary festival

SEATTLE — Bumbershoot has announced its music lineup for the 50th anniversary of the arts and music festival on Labor Day weekend.

Tickets for shows on Sept. 2 and 3 at the Seattle Center are available now.

The headliners are Sleater-Kinney, The Revivalists, Zhu, Jawbreaker, AFI, Brittany Howard, Fatboy Slim, Sunny Day Real Estate and Phantogram.

In addition to dozens of bands, there will be lots of things to see and do.

Free-range artists will roam the festival, there will be a cat circus, film, vintage clothing, photography, food, robots and augmented reality.

The festival will also have SOS Professional Wrestling and Roll Around Seatown performances, along with pole dancing classes, and a witch temple with tarot, past-life, astrology, and palm reading.
