LOOK: Seahawks Staff Takes Group Selfie with Draft Star C.J. Stroud

Highly-touted NFL draft prospect and former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud was like a celebrity at OSU's Pro Day on Wednesday, and the Seattle Seahawks got to get in on the action like backstage fans.

It's highly unlikely that the Seattle Seahawks will get a chance to select Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud when they make their first pick at No. 5 overall in April's draft.

But the Seahawks sure aren't hiding the way they view Stroud, as coach Pete Carroll, general John Schneider and many more from the team were in attendance at Ohio State's Pro Day on Wednesday.

And though Carroll was seen chatting with Stroud on the field, it was the big group selfie that the quarterback took that with the team that will certainly make many other clubs perk their ears up about what the Seahawks have planned.

Take a look:

With two first-round selections, which is highlighted by the power that comes with holding the No. 5 overall pick, all possibilities are open for the Seahawks despite inking quarterback Geno Smith to a three-year, $105 million deal with the ability to earn $52 million in the first season.

And yes, this includes drafting a quarterback. When meeting with the media at the NFL Combine, Carroll didn't hesitate to admit that this draft presents "a rare opportunity" at the quarterback position.

"The position we're in, we are totally connected to the quarterbacks that are coming out," Carroll said. "This is a really huge opportunity for us. It's a rare opportunity."

It may end up being a best-player-available approach for the Seahawks. If a can't-miss quarterback prospect like Stroud falls to them, this could present the "rare" chance that Carroll is eluding to.

But it would take a major shakeup at the top of the draft order due to an unexpected trade for the Seahawks to land Stroud. As of now, they'll have to focus on the draft plans that don't include the former Ohio State star ... even though the selfie was a cool moment.
