Seattle Seahawks safety Johnathan Abram has been with three teams over the past five months.

And now, he's looking to make it four.

Abram is set to sign with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday after completing his physical, per reports Tuesday from ESPN.

Abram played five games for the Seahawks this past season. The team claimed him off waivers on Nov. 30 after he was waived by the Green Bay Packers the day before. He had previously been waived on Nov. 8 by the Las Vegas Raiders, the franchise that drafted him No. 27 overall in 2019 out of Mississippi State.

It might be an understatement to say Abram has bounced around the league recently. But despite not yet living up to his first-round selection, Abram can bring a rebuilding Saints team some positive qualities on the defensive side.

In 43 career games, Abram has 267 total tackles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions and 13 passes defended. While he'll likely serve as a depth piece in New Orleans, it's hard to find this production from just any old free agent wandering the streets.

Abram's career in Seattle ends uneventfully, with his most memorable moment with the team likely being the leg tug he had on San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel in the NFC Wild Card. In that 41-23 loss on Jan. 14, Abram had two solo tackles.
