A man was arrested in Seaside on Tuesday after he reportedly sexually harassed multiple women in the downtown Seaside area.
Jeremiah W. Tolley Jr., 26, is charged with Sex Abuse III, Harassment, and Public Indecency.
The Seaside Police Department says that on the evening of March 27, they received a report that a man had inappropriately touched a juvenile girl in downtown Seaside. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
The next morning, SPD officers received information from Astoria police about a possible suspect. On Tuesday afternoon, March 28, the SPD received another report that a man had inappropriately touched a woman in a business at the Seaside Outlet Mall.
Officers were able to locate the suspect, identified as Tolley, with the help of the victim. Tolley matched the description of the suspect described by the Astoria police.
The investigation into the initial report revealed several similar reports of incidents in the area. One incident caught on camera at a downtown business on March 27 showed Tolley engaging in public indecency while watching a female employee.
Tolley is currently held at the Clatsop County Jail.
