A deadly weekend in Long Beach left one man dead from a gunshot and another injured from a stabbing, according to local authorities. The Long Beach Police Department reported a homicide on the 1600 block of Gaviota Avenue on the night of April 14. Officers received a shot call around 8:46 P.M. and discovered a male victim with a grave gunshot wound.
