Good numbers of bent rods and smiling faces continue on the Trinity
Good numbers of bent rods and smiling faces continue on the Trinity. Quite a few fish can be found making their way up to the Junction City area from below and this storm should coax them to light the afterburners. The extra shot of rain will help fish in Douglas City to Junction City canyon make their way further upriver towards Lewiston. Fishing remains superb on nymphs and this is a good time to swing as well. These are super grabby summer run fish, you can get them on Rubberlegs, Duracells, Olive Hotspots and Copper Johns. And eggs. This fall is a banger yean on the Trinity with as many fish we have in the system now. Give us a call if you would like to get on the books with your favorite guide!

Trinity River - Willow Creek Weir Fish Report for 11-3-2025
The predictions are for heavy rains to come into the Trinity Valley by the middle of the week. If this is correct the river is going to raise substantially with possibly some flooding. This could put a damper on fishing for several days. It could also start more Steelhead to enter the river increasing fishing. The best time for fishing is a day or two after the rains let up while there is still some color to the water as the river is dropping. “Good Fishin”!
