Plymouth South's stellar day: Vote for the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week

Scituate High's Lydon O'Brien has been voted the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week.

The junior received over 3,000 votes to earn the honor. The goaltender starred as Scituate rallied from a 5-0 halftime deficit to defeat Plymouth South, 8-7. O'Brien finished with 15 saves, 6 of which came in the fourth quarter.

And this week's candidates are...

Todd Egan, Sr., South Shore Tech: Egan scored 6 goals and 2 assists in the Vikings 17-9 win over Blue Hills.

Mason McNulty + Caleb McKeown, Plymouth South: The Panthers pulled out a double-overtime win over Whitman-Hanson, 8-7. McNulty scored the winning goal while McKeown collected his 100th career goal.

Finn Cronin, Soph., Silver Lake: Cronin scored the overtime winner in a 12-11 win over Plymouth North.

Zach Buccigross, Sr., Abington: Buccigross (goal, 3 assists) handed out his 100th career assist in a 12-6 win over Abington.

Charlie Hartwell + Owen Hofford, Scituate: Hartwell (4 goals, 2 assists) and Hofford (goal, 5 assists) both had 6-point days in the Sailors 9-8 win over Reading.

Teddy Lally, Jr., Thayer Academy: Lally had 4 goals and 4 assists in a 20-10 win over Lawrence.

Jack Carr + Sean Rockwood, Stoughton: Carr had 5 goals while Rockwood tallied 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists) in a 10-1 win over Bay Path.

Connor Claflin, Fr., Framingham: Claflin accounted for six points in a 15-12 win over Weymouth. Claflin scored four goals with two assists for Framingham.

Alex Dinsdale, Sr., Ashland: Dinsdale put away a hat trick in an 8-5 win over Brookline.

Patrick Flannery, Sr., Bellingham: Flannery made 21 saves in a 7-3 win over Medway.

Levi Gagnon, Soph., Natick: Gagnon scored five times for the Redhawks in a 9-4 win over Brookline on Thursday.

Tavin Hirsh + Luc Masse, Srs., AMSA: Hirsh had six goals and one assist and Masse collected four goals and four assists in an 11-1 win over Bay Path.

Jackson Mastroianni, Sr., Blackstone Valley Tech: Mastroianni had five goals for the Beavers on Friday, scoring three in the fourth quarter, in a 9-7 win over AMSA.

Dylan McEvoy, Sr., Franklin: McEvoy scored a goal and recorded an assist in a loss to Medfield and put away three goals and two assists and scored the game winner in overtime as the Panthers beat St. John's (Shrewsbury), 11-10.

Wyatt Pastore, Sr., Dover-Sherborn: Pastore found the net four times, including the overtime winner, in a thrilling 11-10 win over Concord-Carlisle on Friday.

Gavin Shipos, Jr., Medway: Shipos poured in seven goals with an assist in a 13-4 win over Norwood.
