(Schulenburg) — Navarro graduating seniors Tatum Harborth and Ryanne Hepp took part in the Schulenburg Lace’em Up Girls All-Star Basketball Game on Saturday.

Both student-athletes had stellar games representing Navarro High School. Harborth finished with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Hepp filled up her stat sheet with eight points, seven boards, two steals and one assist. The Runnin’ Lady Panther teammates lead their team to a 46-27 victory.

The game was the fourth postseason all-star contest for Harborth. She participated in the San Antonio Area Coaches Association All Star game which was held on April 23rd in San Antonio. She also took part in two South Texas Coaches Association All-Star Games. Harborth played in both volleyball and basketball South Texas coaches all-star games in Pleasanton on May 20th.

Harborth was an All-District 27-4A First Team selection for Navarro this past season. She lead the Runnin’ Lady Panthers averaging 19.1 points and 3 steals per game. She also grabbed 5.4 rebounds and dished out 1.7 assists per contest. The senior scored her 2000th career point on January 10th against Wimberley.

Ryanne Hepp was named to the All-District Second Team for the Lady Panthers for the 2022-23 season. She averaged 7.9 points and lead Navarro in rebounds with 6.4 boards per contest. Both Hepp and Harborth were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.

The Panthers finished third in District 27-4A behind state semifinalist Boerne and state ranked Fredericksburg this past season. Navarro was 31-8 overall, and advanced three playoff rounds for the fourth straight year before falling to Fredericksburg. The Lady Panthers are lead by head coach Darrell Harborth who has been at helm at Navarro for 24 seasons.
