Schenectady police arrested a 24-year-old man, charged with making a terroristic threat.

Police say on Thursday at just after 11:00 AM, Schenectady Police Community Engagement Officers assigned to Schenectady High School were alerted by staff that a man on campus made a threat to “shoot up the school.”
Police say that suspect left campus and was located a short time later. He was identified as Zackery R. McWilliams.
At last check he was expected to be arraigned.

This comes as districts around the Capital Region and across the state deal with multiple swatting calls, where threats of violence were made.
