Search crews discover body following Savannah house fire, resident's disappearance

Update 4:00pm: Crews have left the scene for the day.
Update 1:35 p.m.: Officials confirm no explosive devices were found in the home.
Update 1:30 p.m.: Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are now on the scene.

Update 12:50 p.m.: Chatham County Sheriff's Office and coroner's office personnel arrived roughly 20 minutes ago.
Update 10:26 a.m.: According to the fire chief, crews discovered a body around 9 a.m. There is no positive identification at this time nor word as to possible cause of death.
Initial report: One person is missing after a house fire in Savannah.
Fire crews responded Monday morning to 17 Rustic Lane, near the Truman Parkway.
Crews received the call at 1:55 a.m. and arrived just two minutes later, finding the home fully engulfed. It was under control within 20 minutes.

The resident, whose identity has not been publicly released, is now missing. Officials say he's not the type to leave and no one has heard from him.
