SARATOGA COUNTY, NY (WRGB) —
Saratoga County honoring a Tuskegee Airman from Saratoga Springs Tuesday during its monthly Honor Deceased Veterans program.

Clarence Dart was drafted in 1942.
He flew 95 missions during World War II, and was shot down twice.
He received two Purple Hearts, for injuries sustained during air combat -- along with many other medals and awards.
The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American military aviators in the U.S. armed forces.

Members of the dart family were at the ceremony in Saratoga County to remember and celebrate Dart's incredible service to our country.
