Wetter Pattern by Midweek

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – After a beautiful Memorial Day weekend, changes are on the way as more moisture moves back in.

Tuesday will start comfortable with decently low humidity, but temperatures will warm back to normal levels during the afternoon with highs near 90. Skies will be partly sunny with a few late day showers possible, especially from Tampa Bay south. Rain chances will be 20% or less, but higher in Bradenton and Sarasota.

The effects of a storm developing in the western Gulf will reach us by later Wednesday and into the end of the week. That means more humidity, clouds and thunderstorms returning to the forecast later on Wednesday.

The highest rain chances will be on Thursday. The stormy pattern will linger into Friday.

By the weekend the system should move into the Atlantic, allowing drier air to push down in its wake. So rain chances should go back down, meaning a typical weekend is in store with sun, clouds and spotty storms.
