Victim dies after arriving at hospital with gunshot wound

Local food truck garden to open permanent café concept
ST. LOUIS — A new coffee concept is set to open later this month at 9 Mile Garden, a food truck garden and entertainment venue at 9375 Gravois Road in Affton. The concept, dubbed 9 Mile Garden Café, will be a permanently parked coffee truck featuring both a drive-thru lane and a window for walk-up orders, according to a release. Its menu was developed by baristas and will include espresso drinks, specialty coffee drinks, energy drinks and whole bean coffees roasted by Belleville-based LongStory Coffee, officials said.
17-year-old shot, injured near Forest Park
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A 17-year-old girl was shot and injured Saturday near Forest Park. According to St. Louis Police, the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Pershing and DeBaliviere, which is near the Missouri History Museum. The girl was shot in the arm and taken to an area hospital.
