EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Two people were arrested in the City of Eagan, Minnesota, during the execution of a search warrant that resulted in multiple drug-related felony charges on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The culmination of a several-month-long narcotics investigation started in April 2023, headed by a detective in the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and a Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team member. The final result was the arrest of Teresa Arellano of Eagan, Minnesota, and Eliseo Romo of St Paul, Minnesota, who both were charged with four separate felonies and the seizure of 17.196 pounds of methamphetamine and 13,500 pills of Oxycodone.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston was clear Saturday when someone asked during a House1000 town hall meeting what will happen to those who say no to free housing. He said taking 1,000 people off the streets who accept an offer of free housing “allows us to focus much more rigorously on the enforcement of those who don’t (want the housing).” He said those in the grips of addiction will be offered “outpatient treatment and if not, we will get you inpatient treatment.” Johnston made his remarks during a town hall meeting at Evans School in Golden Triangle. The forum answered questions from neighbors of proposed micro community sites at 1199 N. Bannock and 1375 N. Elati.

He said sometimes crews will use a Bobcat poised to bulldoze a tent to get people to move faster. “They say if you don’t do this, we’re going to throw away your tent.” Creswell said campers often grab the frozen tent poles with their bare hands, which feel like they’re burning. “It’s really cruel.”
