    Stardust And Spurs: Exploring Santa Clarita’s Walk Of Western Stars – Diamond Farnsworth

    Saddle up for a trip through entertainment history with a weekly highlight from Santa Clarita’s Walk of Western Stars! This week, stuntman Diamond Farnsworth.

    Diamond Farnsworth was born on Oct. 7 in Blythe, California and is a stuntman, stunt actor and stunt coordinator most known for “No Way Out” (1987), “They Live” (1988) and the “Terminator” (1984).

    Farnsworth is the son of late actor and stuntman Richard Farnsworth and the father of stuntwoman Courtney K. Farnsworth.

    Farnsworth has worked as a film and television stuntman since 1968 and a stunt coordinator since 1980, appearing in more than 50 feature films and more than 500 episodes of primetime television, including “Bonanza” and “How the West Was Won.”

    The stuntman doubled for stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Davison and David James Elliot.

    Farnsworth was the stunt coordinator for “Quantum Leap” (1989 – 1991) starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell, “JAG” (1995 – 2004) and stunt doubled for Scott Bakula in several films and television series including “Star Trek: Enterprise,”  “Lord of Illusions,” “Color of the Night,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and several other movies and projects.

    Currently, Farnsworth is serving as Board Member of the Stuntmen’s Association of Motion Pictures, according to officials.

    Farnsworth currently serves as stunt coordinator and stunt double for Mark Harmon on NCIS, added officials.

    The stuntman was inducted into the Western Walk of Stars of April of 2015 where his star is located on the east side of Main Street between 8th and Market Streets in Old Town Newhall .
