Popeyes In Newhall Falls Victim To Yet Another Burglary

The Popeyes in Newhall was burglarized this weekend, and Sheriff’s officials say it has been hit several times in the past.

Around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, a suspect broke into the Popeyes on Lyons Avenue in Newhall, said Sgt. Rathbun with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station .

“(The restaurant) was burglarized ,” Rathbun said. “Unfortunately, it has been hit multiple times in the past.”

Detectives are watching surveillance video and working to determine if the suspect is responsible for recent break-ins.

The shattered window has been replaced as of Monday, and Popeyes is open for business.
