In a job posting on the iHeartMedia website for a Sports Talk Co-Host/Producer/Programming Assistant, the company justifies the position stating, “The revenue for this $40,000 salaried position will be funded by the savings that the market is acquiring from the expiring Audacy/WEEI & Red Sox contracts. The Audacy/WEEI contract was $300,000 annually. The Red Sox contract was $65,000 annually.”

Plans to upgrade Route 28 in Yarmouth include a roundabout, bike lane and sidewalk
Big traffic infrastructure changes are on the horizon in the area of Route 28 in West Yarmouth and Main Street in Hyannis. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2028. Officials with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation presented their plan at a public meeting Tuesday evening, to build a roundabout at the intersection of Route 28 and Main Street in West Yarmouth and install a traffic signal at Town Brook Road to improve road safety.
