Documentary shines light on running club inside San Quentin
KTVU's Greg Lee spoke to Christine Yoo, the director of the documentary "26.2 to Life," and Jonathan Chiu, a man who ran five marathons while he was incarcerated inside San Quentin State Prison. The documentary makes its San Francisco Premiere this weeek at the San Francisco DocFest on Thursday.

The Albany Taproom’s final day was May 26. Albany Taproom was at 745 San Pablo Ave. in Albany.

Gary Numan Mystified The Crowd In Petaluma
Gary Numan is no stranger to playing in Northern California over the last year in support of his 2022 album Intruder. Playing in San Francisco at the beginning and end of 2022, this year he decided to make a stop at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma, a venue that I had never been to before. Much to my surprise, it was one of the most intimate venues I’ve seen him at (this show was my twelfth time seeing Numan), and it served as a perfect venue for his brand of industrial music.
UniverSoul Circus Opens in Richmond
UniverSoul Circus kicked off its Bay Area run under the Big Top at Hilltop Mall last week with the performances continuing during various times through Sun., June 19. The UniverSoul Circus is a single ring circus, established in 1994 by Cedric Walker and Calvin “Casual Cal” Dupree, an African American man who had a vision of creating a circus with a large percentage of people of color performing. He began searching for people from all around the world with incredible talents. Richmond police Chief Bisa French and City Manager Shasa Curl were set to be guest ringmasters for the opening night show.
