Police issue Amber Alert for 2-year-old boy missing from San Marcos

The San Marcos Police Department is looking for a 2-year-old boy who went missing Saturday afternoon.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Legend Torres. He was last seen around 1 p.m. in the 200 block of South CM Allen Parkway in San Marcos.

He is described as a Hispanic male with brown eyes, black hair, is 3 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighs 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt that says “Legend since April 2021,” black shorts, black ankle socks, and blue and white Jordan high-top shoes.

The suspect wanted in his abduction is 46-year-old Joey Torres. He is described as a Hispanic male with brown eyes, black hair, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs 400 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts, and red and white Jordan shoes.

The suspect vehicle is a silver 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander with the Texas license plate TKK8328.

Police believe the child to be in grave or immediate danger.
