SAN DIEGO — A cold low pressure system swept over San Diego County the last few days, bringing bands of scattered showers.

Widespread precipitation occurred in bouts throughout the region on Wednesday and into Thursday, with a severe thunderstorm warning issued for several cities.

The National Weather Service San Diego has released its three-day precipitation totals, with some areas receiving more than others.

Here’s a breakdown of accumulating precipitation levels across some parts of the county as of 8:19 p.m.Thursday, according to calculations from NWS.

Weather officials say a warming trend is expected to start Friday and continue into the weekend with temperatures for the coast and valleys warmest on Saturday. For the deserts and mountains, the warmest temperatures are anticipated Sunday, NWS said.
