Man dies after jumping from San Diego-Coronado Bridge
According to Harbor police, the man jumped from the bridge about 12:50 p.m. Sunday
SAN DIEGO —
A 61-year-old man died after he jumped from the San Diego-Coronado Bridge on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 12:50 p.m.
Harbor police said officers on a boat pulled the man from the water and performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but he died before he could be taken to a hospital.
The California Highway Patrol reported a car was stopped in the right lane on the westbound side of the bridge. The vehicle was later towed.
