Power outage hits Normal Heights, University Heights, North Park
A blackout around 3:45 p.m. Friday knocked out power to 1,340 residents living in Normal Heights, University Heights and North Park, officials said
A power outage left parts of Normal Heights, North Park and University Heights without electrical service Friday, according to officials.
The blackout began about 3:45 p.m., knocking out power to 1,340 San Diego Gas & Electric customers, according to SDG&E public affairs staff.
All the affected areas were expected to be back in service by 9:30 p.m., the utility said.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
