What channel is Creighton vs. San Diego State on today? Time, TV schedule to watch March Madness Elite Eight game

By Zac Al-Khateeb,

San Diego State and Creighton are set to face off in the first game of Sunday's Elite Eight doubleheader.

Just like everyone predicted.

The 6-seed Bluejays were a trendy pick to make the Elite Eight when the bracket was revealed on Selection Sunday, and they followed through by ending Princeton's Cinderella run with a 86-75 victory in the Sweet 16. But the team they were expected to face in that round fell by the wayside Friday.

In top-ranked Alabama's place is 5-seed San Diego State, which upended Brandon Miller and the Crimson Tide 71-64 with a dominant defensive effort in which Alabama shot 23 of 71 from the field and made only three 3-pointers in 27 attempts. Now, Brian Dutcher's squad will look to extend the program's deepest NCAA Tournament run by at least another round.

The South Region final matchup between SDSU and Creighton should be an interesting one. The Bluejays are coming off a victory in which they shot 58.2 percent from the field, including 37.5 percent from 3. But the Aztecs enforced their will defensively on Alabama, notching nine steals and eight blocks while forcing 14 turnovers.
