Victor Wembanyama has made history once again, this time by being included on an All-NBA team.

The San Antonio Spurs rookie has become the youngest player in NBA history to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team.

Wembanyama joins Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert, Los Angeles’s Anthony Davis, Miami’s Bam Adebayo, and New Orleans’ Herb Jones in receiving this honor

It was a stellar season for the 20-year-old, as he averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.

He also led the league in blocks with 254, outpacing the next closest competitor, Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren, who had 190.

He is now only the sixth rookie in NBA history to make an All-Defensive team, joining Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manute Bol, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

However, Wembanyama is the only one among them to be selected for the First Team.

"Wemby The perfect definition of Generational Talent," said one fan.

"Arguably should've been DPOY too," said another.

Wembanyama was nominated for the Defensive Player of the Year award alongside Bam Adebayo and Rudy Gobert, who would eventually win the award.

San Antonio finished 22-60 this season, but the future looks bright with Wembanyama as the team's key piece.
