(San Antonio) – Marion High School’s Owen Schoenvogel will participate in the Valley-Hi Optimist All Star Baseball Game on Saturday.
Schoenvogel was the MVP of District 26-3A during the 2023 season. A senior leader on the Bulldog pitching staff, Shoenvogel tossed a no-hitter in a 10-0 win for Marion over Randolph on April 3rd.
The Bulldogs finished the district season undefeated and have not lost a district game in four years. Marion advanced to UIL Class 3A Region IV Area round and finished the 2023 season with a overall record of 20-9 in head coach Tim Tesch’s 9th year at the helm.
The Valley-Hi Optimist All Star Game will be held this Saturday, June 3rd at the Tejada Sports Complex in San Antonio. The game has a 6 p.m. start time.
