SAN ANTONIO - “Stunt Devil Bridges” has been reunited with his family!
Just over a week ago, we shared ‘Bridges’s’ story of being rescued from a local highway overpass ledge.
Officers found the cat lying on the edge of the overpass’s ledge and approached with extreme care so they wouldn’t spook the cat into jumping. ‘Bridges’ who is actually named ‘Oliver,’ was safely secured and cleared for any major medical concerns.
Animal Care Services says the O Family was distraught when they discovered their beloved Oliver had escaped the house and was nowhere to be found.
After receiving phone calls from family and friends, they checked the ACS website and instantly knew they had found their missing kitty!
Miss O is extra thankful to have been reunited with Oliver. She says, “Thank you to everyone who helped him! He is my emotional support cat, and had it not been for all the people calling about him, we would have never found him!”
Hopefully, Oliver is able to stay home and out of purr-carious situations, but if not, his microchip will help him get him back home.
