‘Beautiful’ Jen Shah’s skin and hair look ‘great’ in prison: pal

Jen Shah’s keeping up her beauty routine while behind bars.

The former “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star is currently serving time at Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas — and serving looks, it would appear.

“She looks beautiful, her skin looks so glowy, her hair looks great. She’s doing phenomenal there in that sense,” Shah’s friend and assistant (who’s also the keeper of her social media accounts) shared on her Instagram Stories Tuesday.

The reality star is famous for her lavish lifestyle, over-the-top designer wardrobe and devotion to her glam squad, even paying her hairstylist a visit after getting arrested in 2021.

Shah, 49, pleaded guilty in July 2022 to defrauding thousands of people in a telemarketing scheme.

Shah’s pal gave an update on her Instagram Story, saying the former “RHOSLC” looks “glowy” and “beautiful.” thejenshah/Instagram

She reported to prison on Feb. 17 and was originally sentenced to 6.5 years, though her sentence was later reduced by one year. The Bravolebrity is now scheduled to be released on Aug. 30, 2028.

She also has to cough up $6.5 million in restitution, with her lawyer telling People she has already initiated those payments.

The pal also said fans have been writing Shah letters of support, and that she appreciates the love.

The former reality star has even started teaching a fitness class “three times a week,” according to her employee, earning herself a new nickname: “Jen Fonda.”

Shah — who converted to Islam after marrying her husband, Coach Sharrieff Shah — has been observing Ramadan and is “fully in it” in prison, though the “beginning is always a little bit harder, adapting to no eating.”

However, he revealed that there are five other women in her pod who are also fasting for the Muslim holiday.

The same assistant has been posting Shah’s diary entries on both Instagram and her official website; in one, Shah wrote that she felt she “doesn’t belong” in prison, but has “no one to blame” but herself.

Perhaps Shah has since had a change of heart, as she also gave her assistant a message to relay to fans: “Bryan Federal Prison Camp is definitely giving ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake’ a run for their money.”
