MSP asking for help in identifying homicide suspect

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a 2022 homicide in Salisbury.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Craig Polk Jr., was last seen alive on February 25, 2022. He was reported missing to police the following day. Polk’s body was found on May 3rd, on the edge of a field near Rockawalkin Road.

Polk was identified through the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, and an autopsy determined that his death was a homicide by gunshot wound.
