The Monterey County Sheriff Deputy injured in a standoff in Salinas was released from the hospital on Sunday. Deputy Jesse Green, a 17-year veteran of the sheriff’s office, was hospitalized after being shot on Wednesday. He was shot in the side and arm. Personnel from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, Salinas police and the Salinas Fire Department were at the hospital when Green was released from the hospital."We wish Deputy Grant a quick recovery and are continuing to support him and his family with any assistance he may need," the Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook.
