ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — On June 5, Roanoke College had a press conference to discuss their partnership with Salem City Schools for a planning grant to benefit at-risk students in need of college and career preparation support.
The following school and college officials were expected to attend:
- Frank Shushok Jr., president of Roanoke College
- Kathy Wolfe, vice president and dean of Roanoke College
- Lisa Stoneman, chair of Roanoke College’s Education Department
- Curtis Hicks, superintendent of Salem City Schools
- Jamie Soltis, assistant superintendent of Salem City Schools
