Cascade golfer Maddie Dustin is the Statesman Journal's Athlete of the Week.

Dustin won the newspaper's poll for top area athletes, which is voted on by readers.

She shot a 3-over 145 to win the OSAA Class 4A/3A/2A/1A golf state championship. 

Here is another look at the other nominees this week. 

Colby Sullivan, McNary boys golf: He shot a 3-under 141 to win the OSAA Class 6A golf state championship. 

JT Silldorff, West Salem lacrosse: As of May 11, his average save per game was 9.27 for the Titans. 

Haley Butenschoen, Stayton track and field: She has the top time in the 800 meters (2:22.60) in the state at the Class 4A level. She also has the eighth-best time in the 400 meters (1:01.94).
