With the warm weather season on the horizon, Derby Street Shops has announced the lineup for its annual kid-friendly events series, Summer Thursdays, in addition to the return of Music Together® summer sessions. Kicking off on May 2, Summer Thursdays will once again offer an exciting lineup of outdoor entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy each Thursday from May through August. Also back by popular demand for the second year, Music Together® in partnership with The South Shore Conservatory will offer early childhood music classes in two 6-week sessions starting in May and July.
NY Bagel Factory opens in Newtonville

According to a poster on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, NY Bagel Factory is now open in Newtonville, moving into a space in the Trio luxury apartment building on Washington Street. The new shop joins others in Framingham and Southboro, and it offers bagels, breakfast items, baked goods, sandwiches, coffee, iced tea, and more.
