A Salamanca woman was arrested for allegedly fighting with several police officers after a traffic stop in Bradford Friday. City of Bradford police charged 21 year old Jordyn T. Wiley with 2 counts of felony assault on a law enforcement officer, endangering the welfare of children, resisting arrest and simple assault, as well as several traffic offenses.

(WNY News Now) – A 30-year-old resident of 7970 Dublin Rd. in Mansfield, has been arrested by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office following a welfare check incident. Mansfield – Preston J. Quinn, 30, was taken into custody by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a warrant issued by the City of Olean. The arrest transpired following a welfare check on Dublin Rd. in the Town of Mansfield.

A Bradford man was injured in a rollover collision on Looker Mountain Trail. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 19-year-old Dakota Baker was driving on the Trail late Saturday night when he failed to negotiate a turn and went off the left-hand side of the road, causing his truck to overturn.

A Gowanda man was recently taken into custody on an active bench warrant charging him with 1st-degree rape. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office reports that 53-year-old Rafael Sanjurjo was arrested last Thursday on the warrant issued by the Olean Police Department. Sanjurjo was transported to that department.

Olean Police are investigating a burglary and vehicle theft. Olean Police posted doorbell camera video of a suspect they believe broke into a home on Prince Street during the early morning hours Saturday while the residents were asleep. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in the video.

Redeye was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest after being apprehended on a felony bench warrant. The second incident involved the arrest of a 41-year-old man named DeWayne T. Solomon, who was stopped during a routine traffic stop and found to have a felony bench warrant issued by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

City of Bradford Firefighters assisted in battling a house fire in Salamanca Tuesday night. Salamanca firefighters responded to a call about smoke coming from windows of a home on Front Street to find a working fire.
