Tampa Bay Rays catcher Francisco Mejia is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Bailey Ober and the Minnesota Twins.
Christian Bethancourt will replace Mejia at catcher and hit eighth as the Rays continue to alternate starts between the backstops.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total is 4.14 and the game total is 7.5. Ober has a 2.33 ERA and 3.64 xERA this season, with a 34.1% hard-hit rate, 22.5% strikeout rate, and 6.2% walk rate.
