I’m not gonna sit here and act like I’m an avid fisherman who spends a lot of time in the swamps in Louisiana.
In fact, I’ve never even tried jug fishing, nor have I ever been to Louisiana.
However, after watching this video, you won’t be catching me down in da bayou anytime soon.
This wild video dates back to 2016, when a man and his family went kayaking and camping at Lake Fausse Point State Park in St. Martinville, Louisiana.
While down there, the father decided to set up a noodle near their campsite.
When he and his family went out on the kayaks, he decided to check the noodle in hopes that there was a nice catfish on the other end…
But boy, he got something terrified instead.
As he begins to pull the noodle up out of the water, he realizes there’s something massive on the other end, hoping it’s a gar.
And as the excitement began to build, the excitement quickly turned to terror when you can see the snout of an alligator pop out of the water.
He immediately drops the noodle and takes off peddling as fast as he can, and you can basically see the goosebumps pop up.
He says:
“OH MY GOD! THAT’S A BIG A** GATOR BUDDY!”
Not to mention, it terrified his child as well, as you can hear the kid crying and say:
“GET AWAY FROM HERE.”
Man, this will send chills down your spine.
