ST. LOUIS — Much of the Midwest will be watching for severe weather over the next three days. St. Louis will be on the eastern threat of the strongest weather Friday and Saturday before that threat shifts eastward on Sunday.

Breezy and warmer Friday, with a round of morning rain and storms followed by additional afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong to severe, with hail and damaging winds being the main threat.  Highs in the low to mid 70s.

Windy and warm Saturday, highs near 80. Winds could gust to 35mph.  A spot afternoon shower or storm can’t be ruled out. More thunderstorms are expected to develop to our west Saturday night into early Sunday and then move in our direction. Then, on Sunday afternoon and evening, one more round of storms in expected. This one could be the strongest wave of storms, bringing hail, damaging winds, possible tornadoes, and heavy rainfall. Rain and storms will continue into Monday morning.
