Man shot, killed near St. Louis City Hall identified

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A man who was killed near St. Louis City Hall in early June has been identified.

Police responded to shots fired at Tucker and Chestnut just before 9 p.m. on June 1. At the scene, they found an unconscious 32-year-old man, not breathing near the Firefighter Memorial, which is across the street from City Hall. He was pronounced dead the next day and was later identified as 32-year-old Derick Conley, of St. Louis.

A Homicide Unit was requested to investigate.
