ST. LOUIS - (KMOX) St. Louis Police say they have arrested the person who is responsible for throwing rocks off the Hampton Avenue overpass onto Interstate 64/40.
37-year old Phillip Carter was questioned Friday, and police say he admitted to throwing the rocks onto the highway.
This has been going on for several weeks. St. Lois Police said on Wednesday they had officers stationed at nearby gas stations.
While several cars were damaged, there were no reports of injuries
Warrants will be applied for at the Circuit Attorney's office.
