The BATTLEHAWKS (-165) look to pick themselves up and dust themselves off after suffering another setback against the Defenders in Week 5. There’s no shame in losing to DC, as it is the XFL’s only unbeaten team, and St. Louis will get well against a 1-win Vipers team that scored 35 points last week but also allowed 32 to the winless Guardians.
QB AJ McCarron and the St. Louis pass attack will have their way with Vegas, and the Vipers’ offense won’t be nearly as effective against the visitors.
Against the spread
The BATTLEHAWKS -3 (-110) are a decent play against the leaky defense of the Vipers. This is a team with a lot of holes, the Battlehawks have been strong against all teams not named the Defenders.
Over/Under
The OVER 44.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
