    Missing Sacramento teen: 13-year-old girl found

    Update: At 7:33 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department said Maya was located safely.

    (FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing teenage girl.

    SPD said the name of the missing girl is Maya Salas . She is 13 years old, 4 feet 11, and weighs 100 lbs. Salas is described as having black hair and hazel eyes.

    Salas was last seen on Saturday morning around 11:15 a.m. in the 2500 block of Taft Street. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red shorts, and black and red Nike Shoes.

    Anyone with information on her whereabouts is advised by police to call the Sacramento Police Department at 916-808-5471.

    I feel like parents should be monitoring their social media. A lot of these young women are meeting up with guys twice their age, glad she was found safe.
