The event began in 1999 by Gene Libby as a way to honor his wife, Mary Kerry Libby, who died of cancer.
The walk follows the same route that Mary used to walk in downtown Saco.
Mary's Walk has become one of the biggest fundraisers for the Maine Cancer Foundation, providing research and support to cancer patients and families in Maine. Millions have been raised over the years.
For this year, 1300 people registered and the total raised was $192,500, with more donations still trickling in.
Longtime CBS 13 anchor Kim Block was the emcee for Sunday's event.
