Louisiana State Police say a grandfather and his 15-year-old, and 17-year-old granddaughters were killed in a crash.

Kadience Northcutt, Jolie Northcutt and their grandfather 66-year-old Billy Ray Meshell died Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say Meshell crashed into a logging truck in front of him that had slowed down to make a turn.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 171 south of Zwolle in Sabine Parish.

Impairment is not suspected.

So far, a GoFundMe page has raised almost $16,000 for their funeral.
