Bobcat sighted in the area
Dear Yarrow Point Residents (and all Points Communities, please spread the word),. This is a reminder to please watch your pets. While it is wonderful we live on our wild peninsula, we must continue to be vigilant with our pets. A neighbor’s dog unfortunately did not survive an encounter in the middle of the afternoon on Points Drive. There have been sightings of bobcats roaming the Town from the north end on 95th throughout Town to properties located on NE Points Drive, near Queen Bee. We recommend following the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife guidelines around living with wildlife in urban areas. https://wdfw.wa.gov/species-habitats/living.
