The ACAPs take place once a year in the spring for students in grades 2-8 for ELA and Math, and grades 4, 6, and 8 for Science and measures student mastery of the Alabama Course of Study Standards. The ACAP Champ Awards recognizes students that score on or above proficiency by scoring a 3 or 4.
