AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - A Liberian national has died in custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in South Georgia on Tuesday, May 21. According to a release by the agency, on July 5, 2023, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Atlanta encountered Cambric Dennis, 44, in Jackson, Georgia, after he was convicted of an aggravated felony related to controlled substance trafficking.
