On the mound, senior Alycia Searwar limited Roselle Catholic to two hits through seven innings and was credited with the win. However, Searwar struggled with her command, walking eight batters and hitting two.

On the flip side, Roselle Catholic’s Jordyn Batts drew three walks and was a force along the basepaths with three steals. As a team, The Lions stole nine bases, constantly applying pressure to the opposing defense.

Next up for Roselle is a contest on the road against Rahway. First pitch is set for Friday at 4:30 p.m.
