First Warn 5 Weather: Rain likely impacts Monday morning commute
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - We started dry, but a few pop-up showers and rumbles are found out there this evening. We don’t expect a washout of an evening, but you might have to dodge a quick downpour or two if you have outdoor or dinner plans. I expect the rain coverage to increase a bit late evening and into the overnight. There is not a severe weather threat.
Storms, showers, make for a FIRST WARN Monday
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two areas of low pressure converging on the Central Plains bring a First Warn for storms and showers today. On-and-off storm activity will be common this morning, developing into more storms by mid to late this afternoon. Severe weather activity is much more concentrated towards the gulf coastal areas, but a few stronger storm cells cannot be ruled out as we move into the peak heat of the day. Temperatures are anticipated to rise only to the upper 60s and lower 70s keeping us 3 to 5° below average.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Arthur Bryant’s announced their reopening on Monday at 1 p.m. Through their “X” account, the famous barbeque joint posted about their return. AB’s temporarily closed on Friday, May 3 due to plumbing and flooding damages after the storms earlier in the month.
Kansas City to Grandview public bus route no longer offered
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The public will no longer have an option to take a public bus from Grandview to Kansas City, Mo. Beginning Monday, May 13, the 29 Blue Ridge Limited Bus Route will end at Holiday Drive and Blue Ridge Boulevard instead of continuing on into Grandview.
